About Muse and Elle Fanning

March 29, 2013

Whaaa, we got long weekend these days! You won't believe how happy I am with this little holiday. I nearly have no time for myself recently. So I reschedule my timetible a little bit and I finally only take four sketch orders in a week, I think it would save my energy.

Aaaand time to post my latest sketch! Aah, I really really love my latest sketch because I use water colour in it! I've never been using water colour ever. Ever. Well, this drawing isn't fully coloured actually, but I'm pleased enough with my courage to give myself a chance to use water colour AND draw in A3 sketch paper (IT'S SO BIG). It IS a big deal guys, because if I failed once, I would never try it again. Bad habit indeed. By the way, this post includes step by step of the sketch, I hope you like it.

If you have no idea about this girl, it's Elle Fanning. The Stunning Ella Fanning. Yay! Why Elle Fanning? I love her. Her face is so innocence and totally looked like a baby. I don't know, I just kind of like the feeling when I draw her face (and Emma's too).

Anyway, do you guys know about a muse? Yes, that one, that 'It's time to face the music, I'm no longer your muse' lyric on Katy Perry's The One That Got Away. Haha why am I even placed that lyric here...

So, yeah, do you guys know about it? I've heard from someone I can't clearly remember whom, but muse is that someone who takes the main character of your creations and masterpiece. For example, a fashion designer designs a woman dress, and s/he doesn't need someone else's body size. S/he creates the body size by him/herself, but has no idea whose size is that. And when someone fits in the dress perfectly, perfectly, it's his/her muse.

I haven't find my own muse. Huffff. But Helen Green has. She's totally talented! Her muse is Lady Gaga and no wonder that Gaga has been using Helen's artwork several times. You have to check her tumblr or facebook page.

Anyway, do you guys ever find your own muse? Share it with me, I'll be happy to know! Thanks for reading and visiting and commenting and following, you kind-hearted peeps. Have a grrreat (long) weekend! :)

Prescon and Page

March 26, 2013

Holla, everyone!

I finally have a chance to make a post! So anyway, my company held an event two days ago. For those Indonesians, you should have known Ustadz Solmed, right? Yes, he is our client, he held a press conference with his newly born nasyid group called Syamwel Mahmoed. We invited some media, hijabers, and other guests, blah blah, and held it at the restaurant called Bumbu Desa. One thing I got from the event is... THE RESTAURANT IS BEAUTIFUL! Okay, sorry for the capslock. But it IS beautiful.

In the other hand, we got a special guest star! Some of you maybe know, but the rest of you maybe don't. It's Awan Voice from X-Factor Indonesia. Well, technically they didn't even go through into the Gala Show, but we all know them from the X-Factor, so yeah...

The team. Spot me right there. :p

Tiring day indeed. I got the sore feet the night after, but that's okay. After all this is my first event ever since I work here and that's not really bad. That's grrreat, actually, because I ate my lunch and my dinner there for free! Haha. I'll stop talking now.

ANYWAAAY, I've just created a page for my drawings. Not because I feel like those professional artists out there or else, no way, I just want to share my recent drawings and sometimes my inspirations, and actually to separate it from my personal account. Aha. If you want to see my old artworks and stuffs, you can click this link (https://www.facebook.com/mirzaillustration) and make sure to like the page! I'll be vvvvvery hhhhhappy if you do.

And maybe that's all for now! I've been busy working and stuff, plus I receive some sketch orders and it really takes my time. Phew. So byeee! PSSSSH, don't forget to visit my page. Thank yew. :D

The Youtube Heartthrobs

March 14, 2013

Hi! This would be a super random post and I think you wouldn't be really interested. Sooo, I now work in an event organizer company, a growing company exactly. I work as a web developer, and no, it's not like I run the HTML or whatsoever because I really don't understand those things. I tweet. Yes, peeps, you read it right. I run some accounts on twitter, including my company's and clients' twitter, developing the company through this virtual world. So I'm gonna advertise my company now... HAHA NOT. No, I'm kidding.

What I'm trying to share to you now is, that I'm working now.

Did I say I'm working now?

I'm working now.

Right. I currently active on Youtube (that means I watch videos, and not create one). That's just because Dhia told me that there's an Arab-Filipino youtuber that kind of looks like Zayn Malik! And yes, his face is quite the same, except maybe he's more devout (well, who knows actually). Dhia spreads a new virus, everyone! BEWARE. Haha, ok so, maybe you want to take a peek?

Eep! Stay there! Okay, I don't know how tall he is, but he looks tall. Like... tall. Yep, and please don't melt there. I've just tidy up my page. What.

So one day, when I stalk his Instagram account (yes, one leads to another), I open the popular pics, and found an inviting picture. And I was like, "I think I know this guy,". Well not 'know' like we 'know' each other or we've met somewhere, but I just kind of know him. So I stalk his photos (it seems like I'm a stalker in this blogpost, well I am), because his Instagram display name is 'Bertie Butthole'. I stalk, I stalk, I stalk, aaand, in fact I know him! I really am! I've even googled his pictures before (dang! Total stalker).

His actual name is Bertie Butthole. Haha, no. It's Bertie Gilbert. Bertie William Gilbert. The reason why I know him is, he takes a role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! Okay, I proudly present The Heartthrob Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy! Yeah, clap, everyone!

Bertie's a youtuber too! And he's, if I could properly say, HOT. But he's only 15, so back off, girls, you're way too older. He's nice, funny, and cute, and hipster. And British (YAY!). Can't say more. You could just visit his Youtube page, or watch this video.

Sooo, bye now, peeps! Sorry for spreading another virus. xD

This and That: SNMPTN Submission

March 09, 2013

Hi! So like I've said before, I'm going to share some of my artwork I've submitted for the snmptn. Since the enrollment is over and we are all just waiting for the decision which will be announced at May (and hoping some luck), it's safe to share them here.

  1. Yes, everybody! It's @EmWatson. I don't think I failed this time cos she looks like the real Emma (at least for me). I've been avoiding to draw Emma Watson for the past two years, just because I really, really love her, and I'm afraid to ruin her face. So every time I have an intention to draw her, I postponed it. I can't believe I did it myself too, you know. Haha. And this time, finally! I finally got enough courage to draw her and I made it! I'm so happy. I'm gonna draw Tom Felton next time.
  2. The title is 'Gaza: We Will Not Go Down', another task from snmptn. I was supposed to draw gambar suasana, and I got nothing inside my head. I googled some pictures and the result is just indifferent. I need something catchy. So one day, I don't know where this idea come from, I just kind of think that Gaza would be good. Drawing a war atmosphere would do some good. So I googled it, and finally found the picture where a man is holding a riffle, and the plus side is, he is holding his children too! It made my heart sank. Whoever caught this moment with his/her camera, I wanna thank you. The photograph is beyond... I don't know. It's just great. I've never seen it before. So in short, I draw it. It feels good. But kind of hard. But finally I'm done with this.
  3. Haha, I know this is out of the topic. But it's my current favourite flats. And that's that. :)

And that's just it really. I lost in my competency test last week, but it's over now. I'll share the video when the editing process is done. Oh, and for another snmptn submission, I submit this one. Not so breathtaking, but well, enjoy it (or not, cause this is pretty short). See ya later, everyone!

OH! And don't forget, whoever read this, I need your pray support, guys. I really, really do.
